OUR SUSTAINABILITY JOURNEY
At Noah Morris Bespoke, we are committed to becoming an increasingly sustainable furniture-making business. We believe we have a responsibility to steward and nurture the planet and not only do we take it seriously, but we take delight in finding ways to improve our environmental impact.
Our approach currently prioritises responsible sourcing, waste reduction, and regeneration. This report outlines our current sustainability status, and ways that we plan to enhance our environmental impact in 2025.
Of course, wood is a naturally sustainable material and at Noah Morris Bespoke, creating custom furniture that is made and designed in ways that ensure longevity is at the heart of what we do. While this is so, there are other ways we are giving back to our environment.

Sustainable Timber Sourcing
All of our solid wood and sheet materials are sourced from a timber yard and a supplier within the Midlands that provides FSC-certified timber, ensuring responsible forestry practices.

Contributing to Reforestation Efforts
We have partnered with Creating Tomorrow's Forests to plant a tree for each piece of bespoke furniture or home accessory that we make to contribute towards the restoration of the UK’s natural environment. As one of the most nature-depleted countries on the planet, we back their mission to make a positive change.

In-House Manufacturing
Our production is managed internally, which means minimal supply chain emissions and we can maintain full quality control, ensuring our furniture is ethically and sustainably made.

Minimal Waste Practices
We work with our wood as efficiently as possible. All of our sawdust is given away to a local horse stable, and wood offcuts are repurposed into smaller items like chopping boards or given away as firewood. Where this is not possible, offcuts are taken to the nearby recycling centre.

Eco-Friendly Finishes & Packaging Materials
Where possible, non-toxic, water-based stains and finishes are used to ensure environmental safety. Our packaging materials are mostly recycled and biodegradable. When we use up the existing supply of materials, we will re-stock with 100% recyclable and biodegradable packaging.
We are dedicated to evolving as a sustainable bespoke furniture-making business, as we balance outstanding craftsmanship with our environmental responsibility. We believe that our current efforts are laying a strong foundation for our ongoing journey toward sustainability.
Looking ahead, we are committed to increasing transparency, researching and using more eco-friendly materials, and preparing for a circular economy initiative to extend the lifecycle of our furniture. As we grow, we will seek further opportunities to reduce our carbon footprint, improve energy efficiency, and work towards sustainability certifications that reflect our values.
We believe that sustainability is not just a goal but an ongoing process of learning and improvement. At Noah Morris Bespoke, we remain dedicated in our commitment to create high-quality, sustainable furniture that supports both people and the planet.
If you share our values and would like to work with us, we look forward to hearing from you.
